04

Cookies & Tracking

AirportDelay uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used.

  • Essential cookies — required for the Service to function (authentication, session management).
  • Analytics cookies — anonymous usage stats via privacy-respecting tools. No personally identifiable data is shared.
  • Preference cookies — to remember your display settings like preferred airport.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect Service functionality.

05

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — companies that help us run AirportDelay (e.g., Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for infrastructure). They are contractually bound to protect your data.
  • Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
  • Business transfers — if AirportDelay is acquired or merged, your data may transfer to the new entity under the same privacy commitments.
06

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days — except where legally required to retain it (typically up to 7 years for financial records).

07

Security

We take security seriously. AirportDelay uses TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, strict access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@flightpoints.com.

08

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal data.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection — object to processing where we rely on legitimate interest.
  • Opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in any email we send.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@flightpoints.com. We respond within 30 days.

09

Children's Privacy

AirportDelay is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If we learn that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe this has occurred, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of AirportDelay after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
